Professional boundaries are the legal, ethical, and organisational limits that define the relationship between a professional and clients. They are a guided set of principles that are necessary to protect both parties from harm. Professional boundaries are an integral part of the Children’s Homes (England) 2015 (Regulation 32 & 33). In addition, how maintaining professional boundaries is at the forefront of safeguarding and child protection (Regulation 12). This course meets the social care common inspection framework (SCCIF) amended and the new Ofsted Framework (Strive, Achieve, Develop).
